The Support We Provide
An important part of our work is supporting Setters who need help and not just rehoming.
We support English Setters in need, it may be with an emergency Vet bill, long term care. We can help with emergency kennel fees, help arrange emergency foster care when required. No matter what the reason we will give the best support to ensure the best out come for the dogs and owners alike.
We are always there for the dogs we rehome, our rehomed dogs have a guaranteed future as we support them for life.
We support all English Setters bred in the UK or have entered the UK with their owners as many people who decide to return to the UK often bring their dogs with them.
Increasingly we are supporting owners who are delivering care to a family member or partner, and sometimes due to bereavement, but we are there to help and ensure the best outcome for all parties .
Sometimes financial challenges make it difficult to make decisions for our companions which at times seem to be very bleak.
We are here to find ways to support both owner and their beloved companions during these difficult times, to make life easier and less stressful for all concerned without the dog being rehomed or missing out on the treatment that is needed.
No matter what the reason is we are here to help and not to judge, every request is considered and a solution is found to ensure that the English Setter is able to get the very best outcome for his needs.
We are able to give specialised support and help with training to Adopters of our Dogs as they settle into their new homes, in particular Working Dogs. There is no excuse for a worker we rehome not to come off lead.
Understanding exactly what they were bred for, and meeting their needs in the new relationship between you and your Dog . A working Setter is not just a doggie!, he is far more and his needs are to be thoroughly stimulated and well exercised.
They need to be kept active in both mind and body, failure in not recognising these facts could be a disaster for you both, and they may never achieve their full potential, which they very much deserve.
